Prayer for the Father of the Family

Almighty and eternal God, who through the Incarnation of Your Son has sanctified the family, look with mercy upon this father of the family. Grant that by his example and words, he may guide his children in the ways of holiness. Give him strength to fulfill his duties faithfully and to provide for the spiritual and temporal needs of his family. May he always seek to lead his family closer to You. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
