Prayer to Saint Lucy

O glorious Saint Lucy, virgin and martyr, you received from God the grace to prefer the purity of the soul to the beauty of the body. By your intercession, obtain for us the grace to love God above all things, to hate sin, and to preserve our bodies in holiness. May our eyes be enlightened by the divine light, so that they may never fall into the sleep of sin and death. Obtain for us the grace to see God one day in the glory of His saints. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
